Specialities

Our Hospital gives comprehensive health Care for the following specialities,

SURGERIES

Orthopaedic Surgery

Orthopedic surgery or orthopedics (also spelled orthopaedics) is the branch of surgery concerned with injuries to, or conditions involving, the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons address most muscle injuries that require surgery, and some are also skilled at dealing with congenital conditions that result in orthopedic deformities, such as spastic cerebral palsy, using both surgical and non-surgical means.

Neuro Surgery

Neurosurgery is the specialized field of surgery that treats diseases that affect the CNS—the brain and the spine. A neurosurgeon is a medical doctor who has received extensive training in the surgical and medical management of neurological diseases. The field of neurosurgery is one of the most sophisticated surgical specialties and encompasses advanced surgical and imaging technology and new research in molecular neurosurgery and gene therapy.

Uro Surgery

Urogenital Surgery or Genitourinary Surgery is a specialty that involves surgical procedures to reproductive and urinary organs. Although the functions of these organs are completely unrelated, these organs may use common ducts. The Urinary System (in males and in females) consists of kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder and urethra. The organs of the Urinary System are responsible for the formation and excretion of urine

Laproscopy Surgery

In laparoscopy, few small punctures are made in the abdomen or chest varying from 2-10 mm. Then,a camera mounted telescope is put inside the abdomen and this also carries a bright light for illumination. Images of the various organs are projected on the TV monitor. Through small ports, various types of needles, sutures can be passed into the abdomen for various operations. Laproscopy is a huge advancement in medical science because earlier surgeries were not possible without lare incisions in the ababdominal or chest cavity.

ENT Surgery

The purpose of surgery to the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck is to treat an abnormality (defect or disease) in these anatomical areas. An anatomical deformity is a change that usually occurs during embryological development, leaving the affected person with the apparent defect. Ear surgery is usually performed to correct specific causes of hearing loss. Nose surgery can include different types of procedures necessary to treat sinus problems (sinus surgery). Throat surgery can include complicated procedures such as cancer of the larynx (laryngectomy), or more simple procedures such as surgical removal of the adenoids (adenoidectomy) or tonsils (tonsillectomy). Head and neck surgery may be necessary to remove a tumor or reconstruct an area after disfigurement from trauma or injury.

Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery makes it possible to mold or reform parts of the human body in order to heal or correct deformities caused by injury, disease, or birth defects. Cosmetic or aesthetic surgery is a branch of plastic surgery concerned with improving physical appearance. Plastic surgery includes a number of different procedures that usually involve skin. Operations to remove excess fat from the abdomen ("tummy tucks"), dermabrasion to remove acne scars or tattoos, and reshaping the cartilage in children's ears (otoplasty) are common applications of plastic surgery.

Spine Surgery

Spine surgery is rarely an initial treatment for back pain, however, there are a few emergencies that may require surgical treatment. In the vast majority of patients, spine surgery is only considered after a long course of conservative therapy. As stated earlier, back pain often takes quite some time to resolve. Therefore, rushing into spine surgery may not be the best idea. Most commonly, doctors will advise at least 3 to 6 months of conservative treatment before considering spine surgery.

Dental & Faciomaxillary Surgery

Dental implant surgery is a procedure that replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones. Dental implant surgery can offer a welcome alternative to ill-fitting dentures or bridgework. Faciomaxillary or Maxillofacial Surgery is a speciality which deals with surgical correction of diseases and conditions affecting the mouth, jaws and face.

Joint Replacement Surgery

Joint replacement surgery is removing a damaged joint and putting in a new one. A joint is where two or more bones come together, like the knee, hip, and shoulder. The surgery is usually done by a doctor called an orthopaedic (or-tho-PEE-dik) surgeon. Sometimes, the surgeon will not remove the whole joint, but will only replace or fix the damaged parts Replacing a joint can help you relieve pain and move and feel better. Joints that can be replaced include the shoulders, fingers, ankles, and elbows. Hips and knees are replaced most often.

Reconstruction Surgery and Arthroscopy Surgery

Reconstructive surgery is performed on abnormal structures of the body, caused by birth defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma or injury, infection, tumors, or disease. It is generally performed to improve function, but may also be done to approximate a normal appearance. Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which an examination and sometimes treatment of damage of the interior of a joint is performed using an arthroscope, a type of endoscope that is inserted into the joint through a small incision. Arthroscopic procedures can be performed either to evaluate or to treat many orthopaedic conditions including torn floating cartilage, torn surface cartilage, ACL reconstruction, and trimming damaged
cartilage.
